Cheeks are one of my favorites!

The profiteroles were a delicious surprise. I had never had Foie Gras as a dessert.

And you can be proud now; you ate a “pigeon” at the Pigeon in Portland! I found amazing just the last photo with the profiteroles. I thought the foie gras was some sort of liver which could be one eaten in salted menus, but definitely I’m wrong, thanks for sharing this experience

I would have opted for the named meat too! Who knows what “meat” could have been :)

The first time I had pigeon was in Egypt. I remember looking at them menu and seeing "Spagetti with Pigeon" followed by the next option "Spagetti with meat". I  figured if the second option was so bad it was actually to be left anonymous, I should stick with an animal I recognized. Pigeon it was… can't say it tasted like 'filet mignon', but it certainly didn't taste bad either ;)

Who would have know that Alpaca would be so delicious. I will have to try it, along with Guinea Pig. But, I’m pretty sure Guinea Pig will be a one shot deal ;)

Guinea Pig, well I'm glad I tried it but unsure if I really want to try it again, It had a weird fishy undertone! And it was served up all splayed with a fiery looking pepper in it's mouth!
