Costa Rica is an amazing place to learn to surf! Samara is another great spot along the country’s Pacific coast, with gentle (forgiving!) waves. I was recently on the Oaxaca coast in Mexico, and there the waves are so much scarier…! Definitely best to stick to Costa Rica as a beginner :)

It is, surfing is not easy, but it is very good. I am also learning now and these scratches are worth it! Keep surfing!

A great reading about surfing, however,would love to have once in a life to wave over sea. However, yet i haven’t ever seen sea or ocean with my naked eyes.
